AM-FM Radio with Compact Disc Player with Equalization and Radio Data System (RDS) Finding a Station AM FM: Press this button to switch between AM, FM1 and FM2. The display will show your selection. TUNE: Turn this knob to choose radio stations. SEEK : Press the up or the down arrow to go to the next or to the previous station and stay there. The radio will seek only to stations that are in the selected band and only to those with a strong signal. SCAN : Press and hold one of the SCAN arrows for two seconds until SCAN appears on the display and you hear a beep. The radio will go to a station, play for a few seconds, then go on to the next station. Press one of the SCAN arrows again to stop scanning. Cruise Control (Option) With cruise control, you can maintain a speed of about 25 mph (40 km/h) or more without keeping your foot on the accelerator. This can really help on long trips. Cruise control does not work at speeds below about 25 mph (40 km/h). When you apply your brakes, the cruise control disengages. If your vehicle is in cruise control when the traction control system begins to limit wheel spin, the cruise control will automatically disengage. See “Traction Control System” in the Index. When road conditions allow you to safely use it again, you may turn the cruise control back on.
